Writing my first Deviant journal entry, so please be kind.  I'm an ordinary wife and mom to one talented daughter on her way to becoming an excellent sports photographer, her medium of artistic expression. My own medium is a needle, some fiber and fabric. I create in pixels of thread on a canvas or fabric ground, I make objects and pictures using needles and also hooks. I paint with thread. Much of my work is done using the patterns of other artists, as a musician in an orchestra plays the music off the sheets and by the direction of a conductor. I also write my own colorful "music" to share with others. I am inspired by the world around me,
